Some of our projects run for more than a year; others take a few weeks. A rear extension, a loft, a new kitchen or the whole house — every job gets the same care, from the first visit to the last day on site.

Brook Green, W14 0JA · 15 months
Our highlight project, and fifteen months on one Brook Green house. The basement was excavated and underpinned, a three-storey outrigger built at the back behind a concrete rear facade, and every room finished in bespoke ash joinery and stone, with shadow-gap detailing throughout.
Knightsbridge, SW3 2AA · 9 months
A Grade II listed townhouse on one of Knightsbridge’s best-kept squares. The existing basement was excavated and extended, a two-storey outrigger was built at the back, and the house was given a new natural slate roof with lead dormers, heritage sash windows and steel Crittall-style doors to the courtyard.
Shepherd’s Bush, W6 7RN · 12 months
A Victorian terrace taken apart and put back together over twelve months: a ground-floor extension, an additional storey to the rear outrigger, a loft conversion with a new dormer and shower room, and every room refurbished, with cornices and chimneypieces reinstated.
Battersea, SW11 6EF · 3 months
A rear extension detailed around a restrained palette of limewash, stone and architectural aluminium, with a new kitchen, a utility room and a cloakroom finished in one deep colour.
West Hampstead, NW6 1EA · 4 months
The whole house, from the bottom up: a new bathroom in the existing basement, a kitchen extension to the rear, a loft conversion, air conditioning and bespoke fitted joinery throughout.
Brook Green, W14 0PY · 2 months
A rear extension built in two months: a cranked steel, new brickwork, large rooflights craned into position, a lead roof and a fully glazed gable to the garden.
Marble Arch, W2 2ET · 3 months
A lateral apartment by Marble Arch, refurbished in three months: full-height panelling, bespoke joinery with concealed doors, herringbone floors over an acoustic build-up, stone bathrooms and a fitted media room.

Eternal Design & Build was established in February 2019 and works from an office in Edgware. It is led by Prakash Choudhary MCIOB, a Chartered Builder who has worked in construction since 2009.
The company has worked on more than 300 properties across London, and the largest single project it has delivered to date was worth £1.6 million. Some clients come to us with an architect’s drawings, others with little more than an idea; either is fine. We raise anything that does not work before it becomes a challenge on site, and look after the house — and the neighbours — while we are there.
Structural, temporary works and waterproofing design are by the appointed engineers and specialists on each project. We are the people who build it.
